Position description: As freshman cohort representatives, students have the opportunity to build their leadership skills as they work with other cohort leaders to plan events and activities that build community and camaraderie. Freshman cohort representatives:
- Act as liaisons between the cohort vertical board (upperclassmen) and freshman members to communicate the interests of the freshman class.
- Get to know all members of the cohort’s freshman class and actively encourage their event attendance.
- Collaborate with fellow cohort leaders in planning, executing and evaluating fun events.
- Attend and participate in bi-weekly freshman representative meetings, bi-weekly all-cohort leader meetings (also known as “Town Halls”), and weekly vertical-board meetings.
Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 15. If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted within two weeks. Final position placements will be announced by the end of September.
