Deadline: Spring Research Symposium

Wharton undergraduate students are invited to present at CURF’s Spring Research Symposium (February 4, 2016, 5:30-7:00pm). Please register by going to the following link and filling out the form: www.upenn.edu/curf/form/spring-research-week-poster-session-presenter-form

CURF is happy to pay for the printing of posters displayed at this event.  To do this, students must submit their poster to Slidemakers no later than Friday, January 29.  See below for more detailed instructions.

POSTER REQUIREMENTS:

Only posters sized 24” x 36” will be paid for by CURF

All posters must include:

  • Your project title
  • Your full name, Penn School, & Expected Graduation Year (e.g., Wharton 2016)
  • Your mentor’s full name, and her/his Penn School and Department
  • The program(s) that funded your research (e.g., PURM, University Scholars, etc.)

Email a file of your completed poster to slidemaker@aol.com by Friday, January 29. (Early submissions encouraged!)

Include “CURFSPRING2016” in the subject line of your email.

Include your full name and phone number in the body of your email.

Submit your file to Slidemakers in either of the following formats:

  • Image files (e.g., jpg, tiff, gif) at least 300 dpi or PDF files created for printing to the same size as your poster (24” x 36”) or, if you are working in Office for Windows, you may send a Powerpoint file.
  • If you are working in presentation software (e.g., Powerpoint, Keynote) on the Mac platform, please print your presentation to PDF in the same size as your poster (24” x 36”) and send the PDF file to Slidemakers.

Slidemakers will deliver your printed poster to our office and we will have it on display for you to present on February 4.

If they have already created a poster, it must be delivered to the CURF office on the 2nd floor of the ARCH Building at 3601 Locust Walk no later than noon on Wednesday, February 3.
