An outdoor activity that uses an orienteering course as the medium to force participants to collaborate and compete with other teams. This outdoor component is a condensed expedition which mimics the challenges teams face anywhere – setting task and process goals, making expedient decisions, balancing task achievement with group development, blending distinct individuals to form a cohesive team, and working through unforeseen hurdles. Following completion of the course, teams will debrief the experience with instructors in order to reflect on the exercise. Boxed lunch, light dinner and motor coach transportation are all provided. There is no fee to participate in this venture. Registration is open to all Wharton Undergraduates.
Two weeks prior to the Venture, all students will receive an email with a survey link for registration. Participants will be randomly selected and will be notified one week prior to the venture.
