Summer Opportunities

The Wharton Undergraduate Division offers three summer research experiences and an additional funding opportunity:

  • Summer Program for Undergraduate Research (SPUR) provides awards to support the research and scholarly work of Wharton undergraduates during a 10-week residential program. Learn more about SPUR >>

  • World Research Assistantship Program (WRAP) provides awards for students to travel abroad to a university or think tank in order to work as a research assistant on a business-related project under the direction of a faculty or staff mentor from that institution. Learn more about WRAP >>
  • Philadelphia Summer Internship Awards provide limited funding to Wharton undergraduates doing unpaid or modestly-compensated summer internships at government entities, non-profit organizations, or think tanks in the City of Philadelphia. Learn more about these competitive awards>>
