Program Information and Expectations
Students must apply to participate in this short-term, 0.5 CU course. Applicants must be in good academic standing. Preference will be given to students who will be sophomores and juniors. WIEP courses must be taken for a letter grade.
Professor Ethan Mollick will serve as the faculty member for this course.
Course Requirements
The course will be held in person in Philadelphia, with guest speakers and company visits conducted via Zoom. Students will learn about and hear from alumni in the tech sector in NYC and the entertainment industry in LA. There may be an opportunity for one of the course sessions to take place in person in NYC. Required readings will be assigned. Students will conduct research and prepare case studies, and a paper will be due at the end of the course. Attendance and participation will also be part of the grade for the course. Please also note the following:
- You must have enough CUs available in the spring 2022 semester so that we can register you for the 0.5 CU course if admitted.
- This course must be taken for a letter grade.

Cancellation Policy
The Wharton School reserves the right to cancel the course for any reason. Participants will be notified as soon as possible in the case of cancellation.
