Conversations that Matter

Conversations that Matter (CTM) is a 5-week, small-group program where Wharton undergraduates come together for real, reflective conversations. It’s a chance to pause, process, and connect—with yourself and with your peers. Sessions will focus on identity, values, and what it means to lead with awareness and intention.

Leadership isn’t just about strategy or skills—it’s about self-knowledge and community. CTM gives students space to explore both.

All sessions will include dinner!

Participants

CTM is for students who are:

  • Curious about themselves and others
  • Looking for more meaningful connection at Wharton
  • Willing to engage in thoughtful dialogue and show up for others

You don’t need to have it all figured out—you just need to be open.

Program Format

CTM will run in the fall semester.

Each group will meet from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. each week for 5 weeks on the following dates: Oct 23, Oct 30, Nov 6, Nov 13, Nov 20

Sessions will include group discussion, individual reflection, and activities designed to build trust and connection. It is expected that you attend all sessions to build connection within your group.

Facilitators

CTM is co-led by Wharton staff, Wharton graduate assistants, and trained undergraduate-student facilitators, which keeps the program grounded in both professional guidance and student voice.
