What are your career interests and where have you interned/worked over your summers? I am interested in the intersection of finance, media, and technology. I have completed internships in research and investment management and will be interning at an investment bank during my junior summer.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced at Wharton/Penn?: The biggest challenge I’ve faced is spreading myself too thin. There are so many exciting opportunities at Penn, but it was an important learning experience for me to understand my limitations and focus on prioritizing the things I enjoy doing the most.

Sophomore summer: Working in the business development unit of a legal tech start-up called tenant buddy.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced at Wharton/Penn? Finding meaning in the future—getting to Penn was such a big goal in high school that I lost track of who I was and why I was doing anything, and it was very hard to regain that back and understand what I actually wanted from life.

Fun fact(s) about you: I have 7 different wolf-themed accessories, and one of my favorite family activities is wild-mushroom picking.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced at Wharton/Penn? My biggest challenge was figuring out how to find my people. I didn’t know anybody coming in, so it was a bit daunting. I was able to find some of my closest friends through all of my involvements.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced at Wharton/Penn?: My biggest challenge in coming to Penn was adjusting to the rigorous academic environment. As a first generation college student I had no idea what to expect academically when coming to Penn and the learning curve for me was steep. I had to learn how to effectively balance my extracurricular and personal time commitments with academics while adjusting to the increased difficulty of Ivy League courses.
