Internal Transfer & Dual Degree

Current Penn undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, or the School of Nursing may apply to transfer into or pursue a dual degree with the Wharton School. The number of seats available varies each semester depending on current undergraduate enrollment at Wharton, and the application process is highly selective. Each semester, Wharton receives far more applications than seats available. Simply meeting the stated eligibility requirements does not guarantee admission, and most applicants will be denied admission to Wharton in each application cycle.

Applicants should first determine if their academic and professional path is best suited to a dual degree with or transfer to Wharton. Only one application will be considered, and both options are equally competitive. All applicants should familiarize themselves with Wharton’s program of study before applying.

Penn students may want to consider engaging with Wharton in other ways:

Wharton academic advisors and other staff are not available to meet with prospective students or provide feedback on applications. Please review the information on the pages linked to the right and direct any questions to undergradinfo@wharton.upenn.edu.
