Who can participate in First STEP?
First STEP is intended for incoming first-year Wharton students. STEP aims to create an inclusive community that centers it’s programming around the intersectional identities among historically underserved groups.
Are there any cost to participate?
There is no charge to participate. Housing and all meals and activities during STEP pre-orientation are included. However, you will be responsible for getting yourself to campus before the start of the program.
Do I have to participate in all STEP pre-orientation programming?
Full attendance and participation is mandatory.
Will I have free time that I can spend with my family or friends?
STEP pre-orientation is exclusively for you, and there will not be a lot of free time during the program.
