Cultural and Equal Opportunity Resources

Students from an array of backgrounds and experiences make up the undergraduate community at Penn, creating a vibrant learning environment. Students are encouraged to explore and make use of the resources below.

Cultural Resource Centers

Disability Services

The Weingarten Center works closely with students who self-identify to ensure equal access to all University programs activities and services.

International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS)

International Student and Scholar Services serves as a direct resource for all international students, undergraduate and graduate from across Penn.

Office of Equal Opportunity Programs

The Office of Equal Opportunity Programs is responsible for implementing and advocating for University policies, procedures, and priorities to help realize its vision of a respectful and engaged community.

The Office of the Ombuds

The Ombuds Office welcomes any member of the Penn community who is experiencing difficulty, conflict, or confusion at work, within their studies, or throughout their life at the University more broadly. We offer an accessible and safe place to resolve differences, explore matters of concern, improve communication, and generate and evaluate options.

Penn First Plus

Penn First Plus (P1P) serves as the hub of university efforts to enhance the academic experiences of students who are the first in their families to pursue a four-year baccalaureate degree or come from modest financial circumstances.

Penn Hillel

Penn Hillel aims to connect students to new communities of friends, new approaches to Jewish wisdom and the next set of opportunities for personal and Jewish growth.

SPARC – The Spiritual & Religious Life Center

A home on campus for students interested in religious and spiritual study, meditation, and exploration.
