Business Breadth

3 required CUs

This three-course requirement is designed to give students a broad sampling of business fields beyond the Business Fundamentals and a student’s primary area of concentration. Business Breadth courses must be:

  • Upper-level, non-fundamental Wharton course (with the exception of HCMG 101)
  • From three different Wharton departments
  • From outside of the student’s department of concentration

Business Breadth courses may not be counted toward any other requirements except for one course in each concentration beyond the primary concentration. Students should meet with their academic advisor to ensure the appropriate selection of Business Breadth courses.

Note: All Business Breadth courses must be taken for a grade, not pass/fail.
